{Travel Log} Sneak Peak -T Family Session - A Visual Treat!

March 17, 2011

A friend's friend called me the other day and said that she had heard about me (yeah! - what every business owner loves - a referral!!) and wanted me to come take pictures of her family. So I did a jig near my chair and said "Sure" :). We talked details and picked a date - a family photo shoot for 5.

Then she called and said that extended family was coming over and can we add more people since three generations would be getting together. I did a mental math - that's 11 people!!. I said "Sure" again and hoped I would be able to live up to her expectations.

After the shoot, I realized that my fears were unfounded. The family was so much fun, the kids were funny and almost did everything that I asked them to do. The adults were super nice and I felt like they were jumping through hoops for me rather than the other way around!!!

Thank you T family for spending Sunday morning with me!. Here is your sneak peek...More to come soon. Enjoy!

There were two of these gorgeous beauties! - Look at them checking each other out!

Ms.P was a delight!. This smile brings out all her naughtiness, silliness and innocence!
Sistas!!!!
I had to bend their arm a bit but they smiled for me. Lovely and sweet couple with a beautiful family!
This is one of my favorites! Big brother A was so proud of being a strong brother but the innocence was not lost in the way he was standing next to his mom, a little shy but very curious as to who was this lady with the camera in his face...lol!

{Personal Expressions} Compass Open House - The Flying FOOL

March 02, 2011

On Saturday, Memorable Jaunts was able to participate in its very first OPEN HOUSE. It was very exciting. There were tons of activities planned at Compass and Memorable Jaunts had its own table. We hung out, chatted with folks, discussed photography and travel.

The highlight of the Open House had to be the Flying Fool.

Now when you first hear that name, what image does it conjur up?...come on, think!. I bet you don't picture a 300pound juggler who juggles balls, baseball bats, knives, chairs, coke bottles, baby wipes and LAST BUT NOT LEAST my camera. I almost died when he took my camera and balanced it on a baseball bat. I was ready to kill him but then had this mental image of me against a 300lb man and that just was not going to be a WIN. Instead I prayed really hard that my camera would come back to me in one piece instead of pieces I would pick up from the floor!!!

I guess he knew what he was doing cause I got it back safe and then I put as much distance between him and me as I could!

Some pictures from the open house - including the Flying Fool!
