Spring has to be the most loved season of all. What's not to love about a season that bring with it an explosion of color, renewal of life, warm tempreatures and positive energy.
Most of the time, you don't have to look very far to see signs of Spring. Birds chirping right outside your window, shoots of green in the yard and tiny buds on trees are everywhere. We just need to take the time to observe and experience this breath of freshness and renewal.
Male red-winged blackbird calling out to the female a few yards away. We want them to pick our deck to lay their nest :) - that's hoping the mating call was successful ;)
With one 360deg turn, I found blue skies, green bushes and red tree buds...I love Nature's color wheel!
I am eagerly awaiting the transformation of these buds into green leaves!
I was cleaning out all the dead leaves from one patch in the yard and found these green "roses" hiding underneath!...
The other quintessential sign of Spring is when the cyclists start riding in their colorful clothing and sequenced formations!
Perhaps my favorite part is when the sun sets and everything takes on a shade of golden...trees, bushes and even light fixtures....
